DTC to run special buses to JLN Stadium

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has arranged for special buses for commuters to provide easy access to FIFA U-17 World Cup matches at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, said the Transport department in a statement.
DTC will provide free Park and Ride service for spectators, with 12 AC buses and extra buses to be added to the routes passing through and around the stadium, the statement added.
The extra buses will be added in the evening shift to the bus routes passing through Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, CGO Stand (Lala Lajpat Rai Marg), Bhisham Pitameh Marg and Sunheri Pullah Depot Stand (Lodhi Road), the Corporation noted.
The matches will be played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 6, 9, 12 and 16.
