Delhi to make 170 Kashmiri migrant teachers permanent

Migrants from Kashmir who have been working as teachers with the Delhi government since 1994 will be made permanent, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Wednesday.
Sisodia said the decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday and added that 170 teachers would benefit from the move.
The teachers would be given relaxation in age, recruitment rules and entrance examination while being made permanent, he added.
