Delhi pollution: Cong lashes out at AAP-BJP blame game

NEW DELHI: Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor on Monday released a white paper on Delhi pollution, along with members of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee.

Tharoor asserted that the blame game between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government has taken away the right to breath from the Delhiites.

"It is an issue of national concern and we want to give a solution to both governments," Tharoor said.

He further said that even after the Congress approached the central government numerous times, the latter has failed to take any step to combat air pollution.

Tharoor cited the instance of the choking smog disrupting the third Test between Sri Lanka and India, saying that it showed the severity of the pollution situation in the Capital.
