Delhi Police working at behest of BJP leaders: AAP

The cases against Aam Aadmi Party MLAs were part of a conspiracy by BJP and Delhi Police, who acted on their behalf, alleged AAP on Thursday.
"Delhi Police has consistently implicated AAP MLAs in false cases in the order of BJP," said party leader Atishi Marlena. She added that the latest arrest of MLA Prakash Jarwal was also based on false claims.
"Police filed a case against him under section 354 and the court quashed the complaint (on Thursday). It shows that Delhi Police is being misused by its political masters to sully the image of the AAP," she said.
The party also alleged that in most of these cases the complaints are lodged by people close to BJP. Marlena also asked the media to be more empathetic with these issues, stating "Now that the court has quashed the complaint against Jarwal, who will compensate for the ordeal he and his family had to suffer?"mpost
