Delhi Police takes action against four of its own

New Delhi: Delhi Police took action against four of their police personnel after negligence were found while performing their duties to keep the city safe and secure.

One of the Station House Officer (SHO) from South East Delhi was among the four policemen. Police sources claimed that three police personnel were posted in one of the South Delhi police station.

"During a crime in Neb Sarai jurisdiction, the response of these three police personnel were not proper and professional," added the source.

Before visiting the crime spot, they should have prepared themselves and had also called re-enforcement. Joint Commissioner of Police (South East) Devesh Chandra Srivastava confirmed the news.

In another case, an SHO from the police station of South East Delhi faced flak on Monday after he was not present at the place in Christmas arrangement. Sources claimed that to maintain proper law and order DCP South East Chinmoy Biswal was taking stock of security arrangement in his district. He found SHO was not present at the spot. "Later, SHO was sent to district line and later reinstated," said an officer.
