Delhi Police arrests two for stoning man to death

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police arrested two men for allegedly stoning to death a man identified as Mujahid Khan in Ranhola in Outer Delhi. The two men arrested have been identified as Anil Kumar and Sagar. Both were arrested on Sunday.
A PCR call was received by Delhi police on Sunday that one person was lying dead in a park near Rajeev Rattan Awas, Ph-II, Baprola, Delhi. Special Staff and local police reached the spot and inspected the crime scene where the deceased was identified as Mujahid Khan alias Bablu, resident of Rajeev Rattan Awas, Ph-II, Baprola, Delhi. While inspecting the crime scene, it was revealed that some altercation took place between the deceased and some men.
"During interrogation, accused persons disclosed that on February 10, they all were together and when they wanted money from Mujahid alias Bablu to buy alcohol then Mujahid denied for money after which, altercation took place between them and both the accused persons thrashed the victim with a heavy stone and murdered him," said DCP Outer District.
The police have recovered blood stained clothes that accused persons were wearing during the commission of murder at the instance of accused persons. Blood stained heavy stone used to kill Mujahid has also been recovered.
