This year, the Hindu festival Diwali will soothe the nerves of around 10,000 home-buyers as the Greater Noida Authority is all set to issue Completion Certificates (CC) to thirteen residential projects in Greater Noida.
The authority team is also checking papers of their projects to issue Completion Certificates or occupation certificate subjected to builders furnishing mandatory documents.
The aim of the authority is to relieve the home buyers who have suffered since past many years under the dual burden of rent and EMI.
The inspection of builder's site will ensure the welfare of the homebuyers and investors as it will provide a complete status report of each builder's project.
This will protect the home buyers from getting exploited by the builder as in many cases they start giving out the possession in incomplete flats and with no facilities.
"We have expedited the process of issuing occupation certificate to a building, which is ready and has obtained all necessary permissions. The respective builders will have to furnish all required documents at the earliest.
"The team who will conduct the inspections will submit their report by July 31. Following which we are planning to issue the CC by August 15 so that the units are handed over to the home buyers by Diwali this year ," said Debashish Panda, Chief Execfutive Officer, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA).
Without an completion certificate, a builder can neither offer possession to the buyer nor execute property registration of a housing unit.
