3 transgenders freed in attempt to murder case

Three transgenders have been acquitted by a city court in a case of attempt to murder after the complainant refused to acknowledge the incident.
Additional Sessions Judge Ajay Pandey granted the relief to the accused noting there was no eyewitness to the incident except the complainant himself, who denied the prosecution story altogether.
"In view of the fact that the complainant has denied the alleged incident in totality and has further denied the identity of accused persons or identity of case property, the court is of the opinion that accused persons are entitled for acquittal," the court said.
The case was filed in November last year.
