Gang targeting bizmen carrying cash arrested

Three robbers involved in various cash robberies in the Capital have been arrested by the Crime Branch while three motor bikes used in committing the crimes were recovered from them.
After the cops received complaints of robberies from businessmen returning from Khari Baoli and Chandni Chowk, they formed a team and it emerged that this was a gang of four-five persons having several firearms
and using brand new motorcycles, who are committing the crime.
On the basis of a tip-off and source information, the gang was identified.
On July 4, Kanhai (24), Bharat Kumar Goswami (23) and Azad (28) were apprehended in the afternoon from "Delhi Chalo Park" behind Red Fort Delhi.
"During the investigation it emerged that the gang used to operate on the information provided by one Jeetu who used to track 'Angadias' carrying cash from Old Delhi area to various locations and pass this information to Kanhai, who used to plan and execute the robbery along with his associates.
"Both Jeetu and Sanjeet are still at large," said a senior police officer.
