Three sharp shooters of Anul Dujana gang arrested
The UP special task force along with Gautam Buddh Nagar police have arrested three alleged sharp shooters of the notorious Anil Dujana gang.
The accused, Ankit Chaudhary, Babbal alias Jitendra and Vishal Rawat were arrested following a brief encounter on Thursday. They were allegedly involved in a bid to eliminate rivals belonging to Sundar Bhati's gang.
Three .32mm pistols, five live ammunition, a Maruti Suzuki Wagon R car and three mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
According to cops, the arrested was planning to kill two members of Sundar Bhati's gang. "Following a tip-off, a team was deputed near Kherli River in Dankaur area of Greater Noida. The three suspects were spotted travelling in a WagonR car. The interrogations revealed that they had planned to attack Sundar Bhati gang," said Raj Kumar Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Special Task Force.
Anil Dujana and Sundar Bhati are gangsters who were involved in several cases of murder, kidnapping, and robbery. Both are currently behind bars. However, the police officials said that the arrested sharp shooters were constantly in touch with the gangster Anil Dujana.
"For over a decade, members of both gangs were indulged in looting iron bars from trucks on highways. They were following an organised gang of sharp shooters and wanted criminals.," Mishra added.
