42-year-old man found dead on company's rooftop

A worker was found dead at the rooftop of a company in which he worked, on Thursday morning.

The company is located in D-block of sector-7, Noida. Other co-workers alleged that he was murdered as his nose was bleeding very badly but the police have denied any such allegations.

The deceased has been identified as 42-years-old Salim.

He has been working in the company for several years and used to live on the top floor of the triple storey building.

"We received the information through a phone call that the body of a worker was found on the roof of a company in sector 7.

"A police team was sent to the spot and the victim was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead," said police officials.

"The body has been sent for the post-mortem. As of now, it's difficult to ascertain the actual reason behind the death of the worker. Though the nose was heavily bleeding that does not prove it to be a murder.

"We are waiting for the post-mortem report. Once they are out, the actual reason behind the death will be made clear. However our investigations are on and we are trying to cover every possible angle" said Anil Shahi, Station House Officer, Sector 20, Noida.
