Two college girls who went to buy alcohol get molested at MG road

Two college girls in their twenties have complained of being molested by a group of men in MG road in Gurugram.

The incident occurred on Friday night when both the victims were on their way to a liquor vending unit at MG road.

"The students visited the liquor vending shop as they could not afford an alcoholic drink in the pubs at MG road," said sources.

It was here when they were approached by a group of five men who started to ogle at them.

Ignoring the lewd calls, the women then rushed towards an auto but were still chased by the men.

Besides being groped, the women also complained that the men tried negotiating with them.

"One of the molesters even asked them how much they will charge," complained one of the victims.

Horrified after the incident, the victims formally filed a complaint at Rai Police station in Sonepat.

The case has been filed under section 354-A IPC (sexual harassment), section 354-B (sexual assault).

The Sonepat Police has sent its team and will be collaborating with the Gurugram Police for nabbing the molesters.

The brazen act of sexual molestation has again highlighted the levels of insecurity for women at

MG road where besides a large number of molestation cases there is also a thriving sex –trade racket is believed to be operating.

The safety and security of women in Gurugram is yet to be improved by the police,
