Minor fire at Mandi House metro station

Commuters of Delhi Metro faced a tough time on Monday, after a minor smoke was reported from one of the technical rooms at Mandi House station around 9.55 pm.

According to an official of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, "to take precaution, fire tenders were called but were not actually used at it was locally put to rest."

"Due to some technical fault in Air condition at platform level at Mandi House, smoke spread at platform level. Moreover, after 15 minutes it became normal," the official said. CISF officials were reached at the location of the incident. Metro movement was briefly affected.
