Mishra files complaint against AAP MLAs

Charging three legislators of his own party of making an attempt on his life when he was involved in a brawl with them on May 31 in the Delhi Assembly, sacked Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kapil Mishra lodged a complaint with Delhi Police here on Saturday.

In his complaint filed at Civil Lines police station, the former Delhi Water Minister alleged that AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan, Madan Lal and Jarnail Singh tried to kill him by throttling his neck.
He alleged that the attack was made at the behest of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Mishra also presented a pen drive with video footage of the incident before the police as proof of his claims.

Before getting the FIR filed, Mishra wrote on his blog that he was a victim of "preplanned conspiracy".

"In the Delhi Assembly, some AAP MLAs tried to suffocate me by pressing my throat. One of the MLAs kept holding my throat for some time and that too with much force and others continued attacking me. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia were the eyewitnesses of the whole incident. The deputy CM was gesturing to some legislators and the CM was mocking," Mishra claimed in his post.
