DCW sends notice to Delhi Police over sexual assault of 3 minor boys
New Delhi: Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) sends notice to Delhi Police (SHO Kanjhawala) over sexual assault of three minor boys.
In the notice, DCW seeks details on eight points which includes details of the accused along with their age, details of the arrest, whether the matter has been reported to the special court and CWC as per sec 19 (6) of POCSO Act, 2012, steps taken by the police to ensure safety of the victims and their family and other points.
According to DCW, they received a complaint regarding the penetrative sexual assault of three minor boys by a group of accused in the colony in Rohini district.
It has been informed to the Commission that 3 boys aged 15 years, 10 years and 9 years living in the colony were playing in their colony.
"While playing, a few boys from the neighbourhood approached them and took them away on the pretext of catching fishes in a nearby stream," said DCW in the notice copy.
DCW further added that the boys were taken to an isolated place and there, all three of them were sexually assaulted by the accused persons.
The sexual assault was so brutal that one of the 3boys felt unconscious and had to be revived with great difficulty.
