DCW rescues woman forced into sex trade

New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) was instrumental in rescuing another young woman who was forced into sex-trade business in GB road but also getting the woman who forced her into this trade get arrested.
Pinki (name changed), 22, escaped from brothel number 64 and contacted the DCW for emergency help who assisted her in filing her complaint at the city police station.
She said that a woman had brought her to India from Dubai five months ago. The woman had promised her a job in Dubai but instead she sold her to a brothel on G.B.Road. After the registration of complaint, teams from DCW, NGO and police raided brothel number 64 and arrested the accused woman. Police filed a FIR under relevant sections.
