Cops used jungle route to crack casino case

New Delhi: Busting a high profile casino running inside the farm house was not easy for the south Delhi police as they have to take the route of the jungle to enter the house and cracked the whole illegal activities.
According to police, the accused involved in the illegal activities have tightened the security to dodge police.
Talking to Millennium Post, one of the investigators revealed that the accused had fit the CCTVs camera to check the location of outside the farmhouse which was monitored regularly and the walls guarding the house was also big from the front.
"We first took a recce of the place and then found a jungle where we saw a wall which was small as compare to others we scaled and then entered the room where the casino was running," said an investigator.
During the investigation, police found that the illegal game was based on trust as no one tried to betray anyone if the person lost money as there were chances that he might be banned from another illegal casino.
Police sources claimed that there was a closed group who used to connect through WhatsApp or any other social media platform and the entry in the casino was tough for any new person.
In the casino the person who used to bet his money allowing others to play the gamble.
"During the heightened vigil during 71st Independence Day the accused stopped the illegal activity as they thought they can come under the police scanner," said a police source.
South Delhi cops have busted several high profile casino rackets during the investigation they have found that accused look for a scheduled place which is far from the buzz of the city and also the illegal game is played few days in a week.
"They operated casino racket two to three days in a week so that no one gets suspicious about so many cars entering one place. The people will think that there might be some function going on," said a police official.
Police also suspect that the casino board was purchased online.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Ishwar Singh stated that they have maintained tight security in the district due to which they are able to crack the illegal casino rackets in the past too.
