Cop's son held for murdering youth
NEW DELHI: A young man was murdered in Delhi's Rohini Avantika market after he intervened in a scuffle on Friday night. The man identified as Aman alias Rajat, was stabbed multiple times by the assailants. Rajat was sauntering outside when he saw some men involved in a brawl with a single men. Reportedly, He tried to reason with the assailants but they stabbed him. He was then rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
In the aftermath of the murder, the locals of the area including the market where he was murdered staged a protest and demanded prompt action by the police. Eventually, the police also formed several teams and the CCTV camera footage from the area was scanned.
Soon Police laid a trap and arrested the main accused Gaurav Dahiya along with his associates namely Prince and sachin Mishra. Gaurav is son of a Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The main accused resides in Avantika Rohini area while his friends Prince and Sachin reside in mangolpur and Budh Vihar areas in Delhi. The three men have been arested and are in police custody as cops try to plumb the exact nature of the scuffle.
Meanwhile, the locals of the area staged a protest and demanded better law and order in the area where the unfortunate incident occurred.
