Constable dies of heart attack, another found dead in Noida

Noida/Greater Noida: In two separate incidents, two on-duty police constables have died in Gautam Buddh Nagar district on Friday.
In the first incident, a 47-years-old constable died due to cardiac attack during morning parade at around 7 in Surajpur police ground of Greater Noida. The constable has been identified as Hasmat Ali, a native of Meerut district, deployed at Police Control Room in Rabupura.
"The policeman was rushed to the hospital where doctors have declared him brought dead. His relatives have been informed and the body has been sent for the post mortem. Prima facie it looks like the constable died due to a heart attack," said Suniti Singh, Superintendent of police (Rural).
In another incident that took place in Noida, a police constable deployed at sector 24 police station was found dead on Friday in a room built inside the police station.
According to police officials, the deceased Vijaypal, was a native of Amroha district and was deployed on PRV 1846. On Thursday night he went to the room to sleep.
"Late in night he drank water and went to his room. On Friday morning at round 8 when the other cops tried to wake him up he didn't respond. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival," said Ummed Kumar Yadav, station house officer.
"The body has been sent for the post mortem. The actual reason behind the death can be ascertained after the reports are out to us," added Yadav.
