College celebrates 110th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh

New Delhi: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College on Wednesday organised a function to celebrate the 110th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

Students and staff paid floral tributes to the great freedom fighter. Principal Dr PK Khurana threw light on the life and philosophy of Bhagat Singh.

Activist Yogendra Yadav was the keynote speaker of the event. During the event, the college organised renditions of Indian classical music, dazzling dance performance.

Meanwhile, the college celebrated its Golden Jubilee, over a period of 50 years, the college has distinguished itself in diverse academic and professional fields by providing a vibrant and intellectually stimulating academic culture, to promote independence of thought and vision.

The chief guest delivered a guest lecture on Bhagat Singh, his ideals and his revolutionary spirit.
