Clinic staffer thrashed by group of youth, sustains injuries

Gurugram: Rage amounting to utter hooliganism was again witnessed in Gurugram after a worker at an ultrasound clinic was thrashed by a group of youngsters. The brazen incident occurred in Badshahpur area on Monday evening.
According to police, the main reason for the violence was a point of difference between the assaulters and the victims.
Besides beating, the victim who has been identified as Avinash, the group also ransacked the clinic and broke the glass windows of the clinic. One of the broken glasses pierced into Avinash's body that made his condition more serious. After knowing that the victim was seriously injured, the group fled from the spot. Avinash was later admitted to a hospital. No arrests have been made in the case as yet.
In the past incidents like this resulted in loss of life. Last December, a gruesome murder of a 35-year-old person took place. Such was the brutality of the incident that the deceased who has been identified as Surender was beaten with bricks and stones till he succumbed bleeding profusely on the city streets.
