Chairman elected for SDMC Standing Committee

NEW DELHI: BJP councillor Bhupender Gupta was on Friday unanimously elected for the post of Chairman of the Standing Committee in South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

He stated that improvement in health and sanitation will be his top priority.

"The Standing Committee has been constituted after a long wait of four months. So a lot of work has to be done in the remaining eight months.," he said, adding that SDMC's deliberative wing will strive to improve its ranking in the next Swachhta Sarvekshan.
