Gurugram: To strengthen their case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) now plans to grill the school staff. According to sources, the officers of the premier investigating agency will begin their probe on Monday itself. All staff members who were there when the incident occurred on September 8 will be first identified and then interrogated.
While a 16-year-old has been apprehended in the gruesome murder of 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur, the role of the school management has also come under a cloud.
The officers now plan to grill all those people who were involved in destroying vital evidence like cleaning the bloodstains from the scene of the crime. The officers will try and figure out whether the school staff concealed critical information and destroyed evidence under pressure from someone.
All the people from school who were in touch with the teenager allegedly involved in killing Pradyuman would also be investigated.
If the need arises, sources also claim that family of the accused juvenile would again be contacted. Barun Thakur, the father of murdered class II student, has already said that he holds the school management responsible for his son's death. His legal counsel Sushil Tekhriwal has also asserted that a comprehensive investigation, in this case, would lead to many people getting penalised.
There will soon be a court hearing on whether the bail plea of Pintos, the principal trustees of the Ryan group of institutions would be cancelled. The revelation by CBI of a class 11 student involved in the murder of Pradyuman has thoroughly debunked the theory of the Gurugram police that had arrested 42-year-old bus conductor in the case.
