Brave Gurugram shopkeeper foils burglary attempt

Gurugram: Displaying courage and composure, Rajender who owns a sweet shop in old Gurugram was able to prevent his shop from getting burgled.
The incident occurred on the morning of Diwali when two masked men who possessed country-made pistols came to his shop and flashed their weapon at him.
The two burglars then demanded the owners to provide them with the monetary that he had in the shop and hurled abuses at him to further cause fear. All this was done customers were present in the shop. Not getting intimidated by the heat of the moment, Rajender kept his calm and snatched the weapon from one of the assailant.
Knowing that the situation had changed and could be caught, the duo escaped from the shop. They did not even take their bike while escaping from the spot.
All this was captured in the CCTV cameras. After preventing the burglary, the shop owner along with his son filed a complaint at the Shivaji Nagar police station. The police officials have assured that the culprits in the case will be arrested soon.
