Boy dies mysteriously; family alleges negligence by school

New Delhi: Like everyday, 14-year-old boy Awadesh left for his school after greeting his family members. The family thought that his kid would safely return home after school will be over but instead of that parents got the message about the death of child inside a school in North East Delhi's Karawal Nagar. Police claimed that during the quarrel with other students the boy became unconscious and later died.
According to police, the incident came to light after they got a PCR call around 11.45 am on Thursday.
During the investigation, police came to know that the deceased who was the student of class seven had a quarrel with a boy in the school after which he was rushed to the hospital by the school staffs where he was declared brought dead. Family members of the deceased claimed that the child was absolutely fine and it was the negligence of school which led to the incident.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-East) AK Singla stated that during the incident the accused punched him and then pushed the victim after which he fell unconscious."The accused used to tease him through different nickname which led to the fight between two," said the DCP adding that no injury marks were found in the body. He further added that they are waiting for postmortem report to ascertain the cause of death. One boy was apprehended in the case.
The family member of the deceased told Millennium Post that the child before going to the school the kid had greeted his family."His dream was only to help his parents," said Deepak Kumar, deceased relative. The deceased was the native of Etawa in Uttar Pradesh and was living in North East Delhi. His father Awadesh was working as indulged in tailoring activity whereas his mother Kanti Devi was a housewife. The boy was born in the year 2004.
The family member further claimed that the boy had told them about the harassment in the school by other students. One day family members of the child visited the school with the complaint."He was beaten very badly and due to the negligence of school authority our kid died," said Kumar adding that child had earlier told them that other four kids were harassing him.
A pal of gloom descended on the house of the deceased as the kid used to made the family members happy and now only his memory was with them.
Meanwhile, Kanchan, deceased's sister, stated that their another brother Amit studies in the same school and was in class 6 at that time when he heard the fight and told the teacher to stop it.''He went to the class to see his brother lying on the floor after which he alerted other teachers. Amit tried everything to help his brother," said Kanchan. According to family members, water was sprinkled on the face of the deceased by the school members but he did not wake up. Then he was rushed to the hospital.
