'Blood stain on window, not opening door for 30 minutes'

New Delhi: "Two people are inside a car, blood stain is visible on the vehicle's windowpane but for the last 30 minutes no one is opening the door," this is how the caller informed the Delhi Police about the suspected murder-suicide incident in Rohini Sector-13 on Wednesday morning.

There was a chaotic situation after residents discovered a suspicious vehicle with the ignition on. According to investigators, the morning walkers were the first one to notice the car standing nearby residential society. "When they checked the car they saw blood and two people sitting in the car," an officer said, adding that the incident was reported near the doctor's house.

The spot where the incident took place is a posh area surrounded by CCTV cameras and residential societies. Few meters away from the spot, women were ironing clothes. "In the morning we saw crowd here, later cops were taking out two bodies," one of the woman said. Another woman added that they are working here for the last 15 years but have never seen such kind of incident. People were stopping their vehicles at the spot to see the broken glass of car's windowpane lying on the street.

Police have recovered phones and they are scanning the call detail records of both the deceased. "We found that they mostly talked to each other," police said.

An investigator added that they questioned few people in this regard who claimed that the doctor had gone to attend a wedding ceremony on Tuesday night.

Later a CCTV footage

was recovered in which a person suspected to be the doctor was seen inside a lift. He was also seen carrying a handbag. The investigators are probing the sequence of events in

the case.
