BJP leader murder case: Noida STF arrested wanted criminal

Greater Noida: Noida Special Task Force (STF) arrested a wanted criminal who was accused in the triple murder case of BJP leader Shiv Kumar Yadav and his guard and gunner. The arrest was made from Bisrakh area on Tuesday after noon. The criminal was carrying a bounty of Rs 50,000 on his head and was absconding after the triple murder incident, said police.
According to police, the arrested accused has been identified as Pradeep alias Bhola, a native of Kheri village in Greater Noida and was an active gang member of Sunder Bhati gang.
"On Tuesday, We received a tip-off that Pradeep was spotted in Bisrakh area of Greater Noida and is suspected to have come in order to commit some crime. A police team was sent immediately and the accused was arrested. He was a sharp shooter and use to commit crime on contract basis" said Raj Kumar Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Special Task Force.
Police have also recovered a .315mm country made pistol from the possession of the accused.
BJP leader Shiv Kumar Yadav was murdered on November 16 2017 in Bisrakh area while he was travelling in his SUV car along with the driver and gunner.
