Biker killed, two injured in road mishap at South Ex

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old man was killed, while two others were injured, when the bike they were travelling on was hit by an unknown vehicle Friday midnight at South Extension.
Police said the deceased, identified as Praveen, was killed on the spot. His friend Love Kumar was taken to hospital and later discharged, while the third victim is missing.
"We received a call around 12.30 on Friday night and our team found a bike in a mangled state. One of the victims died on the spot, while two others were injured. One of the injured persons left the spot on his own," said a senior police officer.
Police sources said the accident took place on the South Ex flyover, while the victims were riding triples on the motorcycle.
Cops are now looking for both the offending vehicle and the third injured. It is still unclear who was at fault.
