Auto-rickshaw snatching case: No arrests made yet

New Delhi: Three days after the incident in which a woman was dragged from an auto-rickshaw by two snatchers in North Delhi area, police questioned several people but no arrest has been made so far.
The family members of the victim stated that the victim still does not able to talk.
According to police, they have started their investigation and they have been questioning several people in the case. They have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
"We are investigating the case from all angles. Till now no one have been arrested. We are conducting raids soon we will crack this case," police said.
On Monday afternoon, Jyoti Bakshi was dragged from an auto-rickshaw after two persons snatched her bag in North Delhi area.
Her elder daughter Disha told this newspaper that her mother is still not speaking and her condition remain same.
"Police came to us and told that they will soon catch the accused involved in the crime," said Disha.
At the time of incident, younger daughter of the victim Mahak was there with her and she stated that they hired an auto-rickshaw from Noida Sector 16 area for the bus stand in Kashmere Gate when a person in black shirt came in a motorcycle and ask the driver that where the auto was heading to.
"The driver told him our destination after which the motorcyclist left I suspect that he can be one of the men who attacked us after finding an isolated area," said Mahak.
Police stated that they are also working on the information that the daughter has provided.
