Ashram girls were forced to work as servants

NEW DELHI: "Minor girls, called kumaris in the ashram, are to become servants of the world," noted in the official published documents of Adhyatmik Vishwavidyalaya at Rohini, which was raided recently.
The documents accessed by The Millennium Post have many derogatory statements regarding women specifically for these minors.
These were found from the aashram when a team of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) and the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) raided on Thursday. As many as 41 minor girls were rescued during the raid.
"Kumaris (maidens) have a special role in the Confluence Age. The speciality is to become servants. If you don't take this chance now, you won't get it in the entire cycle," the documents of the Adhyatmik Vishwavidyalaya have revealed. It further says: "There is a very big responsibility on the kumaris. Each can become an instrument in bringing benefit to many."
Significantly it is also written, "God Shiva says that mothers open the gateway to heaven and Shankaracharya says that women open the gateway to hell. You become Brahmani and show the gateway to heaven to everyone and explain it." These documents were given to the families of the minor girls before they were admitted to the Ashram.
Officially, Vishwavidyalaya is a non-governmental, religious, autonomous, educational, spiritual, Divine family. Approximately 60 to 70 per cent members of this family are women (mothers and maidens). However, according to the documents, all these above mention quotes are collected from various religious texts which included - Avyakt Vani and Murli.
Commenting on the documents, DCW chief Swati Jai Hind said: "These documents clearly show the ideology of the ashram leader Virender Dev Dixit. These words also prove the target of this ashram was to sexually exploit the minor girl and women."
She also said all these documents are much derogatory for the women. "We will not allow people with this kind of mentality to exploit the minor girls in the Capital," she added.
On Friday morning she said Delhi high court has ordered Baba Virender Dev Dikshit to appear before the court. It was learnt that there are eight more ashrams of the Baba in Delhi. DCW requested an inspection of these ashrams.
High Court has ordered DCW, Delhi Police and two senior lawyers to inspect these too."
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party on Friday slammed Delhi Police for their alleged in-action of the incident. Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh said the law and order condition has deteriorated under the nose of Delhi police/
