Armed robbers snatch valuables off woman in Noida

Noida: Armed, bike-borne assistants robbed a woman of her diamond ring, gold chain and other valuables in broad daylight in Sector-28 area of Noida on Monday afternoon.

Police said that the woman is a teacher at a private school in Sector-30 area of Noida and the incident occurred while she was waiting for a mechanic to get her car repaired.

The victim Sajal Sharma said the incident was occurred a few meters away from Nithari police post, further alleging that despite making a PCR call, help came half an hour later.

Superintendent of Police (City), Sudha Singh said a case has been registered. "We have the description of the accused provided by the women."
