Another guard of slain BJP leader succumbs

Greater Noida: Another private security guard of the BJP leader, who was shot dead in Greater Noida West on Thursday afternoon, has died during treatment at the hospital on Friday, said police.
The deceased has been identified as Rahispal who suffered bullet injuries and died during treatment at GTB hospital in Delhi. Following another death in the incident, the death toll has risen to four.
On Thursday afternoon, BJP's Shiv Kumar Yadav was shot dead along with his driver-cum-guard Bali Nath after one of the SUV's tyres punctured. The vehicle also ran over a 14-year-old girl, Anjali Tiwari, who was crossing the road, seriously injuring her. She succumbed to her injuries in a hospital.
On Friday morning, the supporters and family members of the deceased BJP leader held a protest at sector 71 red light and blocked the road by putting the dead body on road, creating a traffic snarl of over two kilometers. The family members demanded CBI enquiry in the case and quick investigation from the police.
The protesters kept the road blocked for half an hour and it was only after the assurance of police that the criminals would be nabbed soon, vacated the protest site.
"We have formed teams to nab the culprits. We have assured the family members of quick investigation. We had to make them understand that by protesting on the road they are creating a problem for the police and the commuters," said a senior police officer.
Later an FIR was registered at Bisrakh police station in Greater Noida by the family members in which they named four persons of the village to be held responsible for the death of the BJP leader. The family members said that the killing was out of an old personal rivalry.
