After action by Haryana govt, more people raise their voices against Fortis

GURUGRAM: Punitive action by Haryana government against Fortis Hospital in Gurugram has resulted in families of other patients of the hospital coming out and sharing their grievances.
One such claim has alleged that a patient who had stones in his gall bladder was overcharged with Rs 36 lakh.
There are also allegations that both his kidneys failed during his treatment during the hospital. The patient also claimed that his finances are getting affected greatly, since he is on dialysis.
The family and the patient had complained about the incident to the chief medical officer a year ago, but they claim that no action was taken.
The family now hope they will get some justice.
