Accused out on bail tries to rape survivor's mother

Greater Noida: The accused who raped a woman earlier and was out on bail allegedly attempted to rape the mother of rape survivor in Rabupura area of Greater Noida on late Wednesday night. Police officials said that the accused was on bail from past few days and was constantly trying to threaten victim's family to take back their complaint.

As per the complaint given by victim's mother, the accused man, identified as Deepak, allegedly raped her 21-years-old daughter around an year ago in Rabupura area. He was arrested by police and was sent to jail. Around a week ago when he came out on bail, the accused tried to pressurise the family by threatening them to take back the complaint and make a compromise into the matter. However, when the family denied, the accused barged into their house on Wednesday night and allegedly attempted to rape victim's mother.

Cops said that they are yet to register a case in the matter while investigations are underway.
