AAP shadow cabinets hold first meeting

NEW DELHI: A day after forming shadow cabinets for the MCDs, a strategy meet was held at the AAP headquarters in Delhi to plan the ways to check corruption of the BJP in MCDs, chaired by senior party leader Dilip Pandey and was attended by MLA Sanjeev Jha, MLA Anil Bajpai, MLA Jarnail Singh, LoPs of all three corporations and all councillors & Alderman of the AAP. The shadow cabinets will keep check on their respective departments and will raise the voice of the common people suffering because of rampant corruption in MCDs.

While MLA Sanjeev Jha will be looking after the North MCD, MLA Anil Bajpai will be in-charge of East and MLA Jarnail Singh will be looking after the South MCD in coordination with the shadow cabinet members and other councillors & aldermen. The overall coordination of the shadow cabinets would be looked after by Dilip Pandey. The AAP formed shadow cabinet in all three MCDs on Monday.

The major issues plaguing the three corporations in Delhi were discussed during the meeting and a point by point action plan was also chalked out to counter these corruptions in the three MCDs, however, topped the agenda of the meeting.

"We discussed various issues & problems of the MCDs, corruption obviously is the main problem which was also discussed. We will work as a constructive and aggressive opposition and will fight tooth & nail to stop the corrupt practice of the BJP, which has been going on in coordination with the Congress party ," said Dilip Pandey, senior AAP leader.
