AAP presents report card of MP Meenakshi Lekhi

NEW DELHI: The AAP on Friday presented a report card for New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi, where the party claimed that she has not done any work and deceived people. During the past five years Lekhi did not utter a word on either demonetisation, GST or sealing in Delhi. In a statement the party said, "She did speak in Parliament about Delhi students and admitted that our students do not get admission in Delhi University colleges. But it was her govt at the Centre. Can she tell the people of Delhi what has been done to address this serious issue?"

The party added that being a New Delhi MP, in 2014 she was appointed to head NDMC meetings, even there all promises made to the people turned out to be imaginary.

The AAP on Friday also did a door-to-door campaign at the New Delhi constituency with the AAP candidate Brajesh Goyal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain. With talking to people the leaders explained the need of the full statehood and the party focus on the demand. The leaders also talked about the problems in higher education, job and woman safety.

The leaders also met the shopkeepers in the New Delhi are which is a business centre and also suffered from the sealing issue/ The leaders explained that if Delhi gets full statehood then CM Arvind Kejriwal promised that within 24-hours sealing will be stopped.
