A new Police district soon in Delhi?

New Delhi: The Delhi Police Headquarters (PHQ) had asked five districts to submit the list of lower subordinates (including Assistant Sub Inspectors). Sources claimed that 13 police stations, which comes under south, outer, north-west, Rohini, and east districts, were asked to submit details of all the lower subordinates and these police stations might be the part of other districts

"There is also the proposal of the new district in Capital which might be made from the police stations of Rohini and North West districts," sources further added.

The letter was sent to DCPs, Joint CPs of concerned districts from PHQ.

Soon, Delhi may also see more than 10 new police stations in different districts of the city which will help cops prevent crime in their area.
