60 grievances redressed in NDMC Suvidha Camp

NEW DELHI: The New Delhi Municipal Council on Saturday organised 'Suvidha Camp for information, facilitation and redressal of public grievances at its headquarter NDMC Convention Centre.

According to NDMC's spokesperson, as many as 60 public grievances were received and were resolved on the spot. The most of the grievances of the residents of New Delhi area were pertaining to the Enforcement, Public Health, Civil Engineering, Accounts/Finance, Personnel and Tax Departments.

"The 26 teams of various departments alongwith their HODs of NDMC were present to sort out the grievances in the Suvidha camp," NDMC said in a statement.

NDMC Secretary Rashmi Singh urged the citizen of area to avail the facilities of Suvidha Camp to resolve their grievances of civic amenities on every second Saturday of the month and she also mentioned that the issues related to grievances will be resolved on fast track basis.

"Regarding information about the online Barat Ghar Booking, Water and Electricity connection has been provided in the Suvidha Camp by setting up a Help Desk," said Rashmi Singh.

First time a women Help Desk was provided in Suvidha Camp on Saturday in which a girl student, who was not able to appear in one exam due to her family problem for which she was not promoted to the next class, attended the suvidha camp alongwith her father and contacted women help desk and was given admission on the spot in Suvidha Camp.
