5,695 new classrooms for Delhi govt schools

NEW DELHI: A total of 5,695 new classrooms in over 100 Delhi government schools across the city were inaugurated on Saturday by legislators of Aam Aadmi Party.
Delhi Education minister Manish Sisodia inaugurated the classrooms at Veer Udham Singh Sarvodya Kanya Vidyalya in Patparganj, while the rest were inaugurated by AAP MLAs in the their respective constituencies.
The AAP-led Delhi government dubbed it as "Delhi's biggest ever education infrastructure expansion project".
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that it was a big addition to education infrastructure in the capital and added that he wish a time comes when elections are fought on the agenda of education and health, rather than on caste and religion.
