51-yr-old security guard found dead in godown

New Delhi: A 51-year-old man who was working as a security guard in outer Delhi's Mundaka area was found dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday morning.
Police suspect that the victim might be smothered to death but they were waiting for the postmortem report to ascertain the cause of death.
The incident came to front when a shopkeeper working in the same area noticed the man's body lying toed up in the guard's room.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Bajran Singh, a native of Rajasthan, who came to Delhi several months ago and was working as a security guard.
The place where the body was spotted was a warehouse belonged to plastic granules manufacturing factory.
Police said that few items were found missing from the spot and can be a robbery bid during which Singh was killed but they are probing from all possible angles to ascertain the actual reason.
Police sources claimed that they were scanning the details of the gangs who commit robberies and burglaries in godowns in Delhi-NCR.
Cops have also not ruled out personal enmity motive as well.
Police claimed that the incident came to light at around 9 am when a passerby who was a shopkeeper spotted the Bajran lying unconscious after which he alerted everyone about the body.
A PCR call was made and the police team rushed to the spot.
The victim was sent to the hospital and was declared brought dead.
A case of murder was registered at the Mundka police station and investigation was taken up.
Every morning the victim used to visit a pan shop but on Sunday he did not come there.
Police sources claimed that the accused were three to four in numbers and to get the clues police are scanning the CCTV of the area.
They are probing whether Singh was murdered for preventing a robbery in the godown or the assailants attempted to rob him of his belongings, or some other personal reason.
