5 trains cancelled due to cyclone Fani
New Delhi: Due to Cyclone 'Fani' five trains have been cancelled. According to Northern Railway press statement, trains were 12802 New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express,18478 Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express, 12875 Puri-Anand Vihar T. Neelanchal Express and 18477 Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express were cancelled commencing on May 7. The press statement further reads that the 12816 Anand Vihar Terminal-Puri Nandan Kanan Express cancelled journey commencing on May 8. The 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express train journey commencing on 7 and 8 May will short originate from Khurda Road.
TEMPORARY CANCELLATION OF TRAINS
According to Northern Railway press statement, due to infrastructural and maintenance work over North Frontier Railway, the 15483 Alipurduar Jn.- Delhi Jn. Sikkim Mahananda Express train, journey commencing from May 8 to May 15, the 15484 Delhi Jn.- Alipurduar Jn. Sikkim Mahananda Express train, journey commencing from May 10 to May 17 will remain cancelled.
The press statement further added that the 12523 New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Superfast Express Train, Journey Commencing on May 14 and 12524 New Delhi - New Jalpaiguri Superfast Express Train , journey Commencing on May 15 will remain cancelled.
