4th accused involved in auditor murder case held
NEW DELHI: The fourth accused involved in the murder case of the senior auditor has been arrested by South east district police on Wednesday.The accused Vikas, a resident of Meethapur, South east was arrested on Tuesday night. 43-year-old Anand Singh, who worked as senior auditor working in the Indian Audits and Accounts Department, IP Estate was found murdered with stab wounds in his house in South east's Meethapur area on Sunday morning.
In this case Delhi police had apprehended wife Sunita (36), her minor son and one Rishabh alias Shibhu from Faridabad on Tuesday. Sunita had promised to give Vikas Rs 1.5 lakh, if he helped them to eliminate Anand Singh and they agreed to murder Singh. Sunita had concocted the story of missing mobile phone and cash rupees 1.5 lakh to mislead the police and concoct a robbery story as motive of the murder.
Sunita confessed that her husband was alcoholic and he used to ill-treat her and children. Fed up with his actions, she along with her son and two of his friends conspired to eliminate Anand Singh, so that they can live peacefully. The juvenile son roped in Vikas, a neighbor and Rishabh in the plan.
