40-yr-old woman brutally stabbed to death in Kotla

A 40-year-old woman was stabbed to death by unknown person in Kotla Mubarakpur in south Delhi on Monday evening. The woman was stabbed five times on her body. As the woman laid there in a pool of blood the attacker fled from the spot. Soon the police was informed and the lady who was identified as Santoshi was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Center but was declared dead on arrival.

The incident happened near Tyagraj Stadium gate number one. It is still not clear who killed the woman and for what reason.

" We have formed several teams to arrest the accused. Santoshi was living with her five children and her husband is living in Rajasthan." said Chinmoy Biswal Additional DCP South.

Soon after the incident the forensic team visited the crime scene and collected the evidence. The body has been sent for the post mortem.

The way the woman was been attacked clearly indicates that the attacker wanted to make sure the woman doesnt survive. The cops are now questioning the people around to get some details about the attacker.

The woman's slippers and a water bottle was seen on the crime scene. The cops are now analysing the call records of the woman to get to know if she has talked to someone prior coming to the Tyagraj stadium where she was murdered.
