36-year-old plumber found dead in Gr Noida

Greater Noida: A 24-year-old plumber was found dead at the roof of one of the towers located in Mahagun Mywoods society in Greater Noida (west) on Sunday night.
Police have found marks of injuries on his face and body and they are suspecting that the body was dumped here after murder, said police.
The deceased has been identified as Gulzar Khan, a native of Bihar. He lived in Ghaziabad district along with his family.
According to police, Gulzar Khan was working in the society as plumber since past few months.
On Sunday, Khan was working in the shift from 8 am to 2 pm.
At around 1 pm, he went on a complaint in Sandal Wood tower for some repair work and went untraceable after that.
"Later in night at around 10pm, two other workers went on the roof of the tower and found him lying dead at the roof. They immediately raised an alarm and police was called at the spot," said police officials.
"The body has been taken into custody and sent for the post mortem. We have found several marks of injuries on his face and all over the body. Prima facie investigations have revealed that it is a case of murder. The actual reason behind his death will be revealed once the reports are out," said Ajay Kumar Sharma, Station House Officer, Bisrakh Police Station.
Following the incident, the family members of the deceased led a protest at the main gate of the society by putting the dead body at society's main gate.
They demanded actions against the accused and compensation for the death of their kin.
