32-year-old alleges rape by staffer in MP's bungalow

New Delhi: A 32-year-old woman who claimed to be working at the bungalow of a member of parliament (MP) had alleged that she was raped by a staffer of the bungalow.
The woman alleged that she was sexually assaulted in the year 2015. Police have started their investigation.
According to a police officer, the woman hails from Telangana claimed that she has been working at the bungalow as a domestic help for the past few years.
A case was registered on Wednesday at the Tughlak Road police station on the woman's complaint.
"We are investigating the case from all angles," police said.
Police claimed that the woman has alleged that in the year 2011, she wanted to sell a plot of land, which the accused had promised to buy from her.
The suspect fraudulently got the plot transferred in his name by making one of her relative to put a thumb impression on some documents.
The suspect did not gave her any money, the woman added.
She further claimed that on September 15 she was raped by the suspect who had tried to lure her on the pretext of discussing the payment. He also threatened her with dire consequences.
A senior police official claimed that they are probing the facts.
The suspect did not gave her money and also threaten several times.
Finally, the woman then went on to file the case against the accused.
