3 youngsters held for attacking trader in Ggn

Gurugram: Three youth were arrested for attacking a trader smashing glass bottles on his head over a difference in the parking area.

After brutally hitting him with the glass bottle, the men then beat up the trader mercilessly till he fell unconscious.

The youngsters were held soon after the incident while the victim was referred to Gurugram hospital for better medical treatment.

The trader is said to be out of danger, police said.

According to the police, what started as a minor difference exchanged on the subject of parking space grew into a uncontrollable situation of violence after abuses were hurled during the incident.

With large incident of crime against traders being reported from the area, this incident again reflected their vulnerability.

Complaining of law and order, traders have now been stating that not only thefts but now the trader community are being victimised with extortions, kidnappings and even murders.

Most of the traders in the outskirts have also led demonstrations regarding the weak law and order situation in the outskirts.

The traders have been demanding that is a need for more police vigilance in the outskirts of the city like Sohna, Pataudi and Badshahpur where the rates of crime against the traders are rising rapidly.
