Deadly clashes between two rival groups at Khatpuri village in Sohna on the outskirts of Gurugram resulted in 20 people, including women, getting seriously injured.
Three persons among the 20 injured are said to be in critical condition and are being treated in a government hospital.
The police had to resort to firing gunshots in the air in order to calm flaring temper among the group members who indulged in stone pelting along with hitting each with rods and sharp objects.
The violent clashes occurred after there was a heated argument between two people over the parking spot.
Already embroiled in a property dispute, the argument turned into a major fight as the other family members joined in.
On various occasion in the past, the two groups have repeatedly clashed with each other. There have been complaints over lack of police action in preventing the gruesome fight.
Several incidents of violent clashes have also been reported from villages within Gurugram.
