3 held for murder of Gzb woman found in sack

Ghaziabad: The Ghaziabad police on Thursday arrested three youths in connection with the killing of a 40-year-old Pushpa whose body was found stuffed in a plastic bag outside a house in Vijay Nagar area of Ghaziabad.
However, the mastermind of the incident is at large, said police officials.
The accused have been identified as a B.tech student Gaurav, a BBA student Vicky and Udham alias Rahul who works as a mobile charger manufacturer. The mastermind has also been identified as Nand Kishore who is victim's brother-in-law.
According to police officials, the murder occurred at victim's home in Vijay Nagar area. The woman's brother-in-law wanted to occupy her house and thus laid the conspiracy to kill her. He contacted his nephew Udham for murdering the woman who then involved two of his friends, Gaurav and Vicky to commit the crime. All were promised Rs 50,000 each for the crime.
"Acting on a tip-off, a police team nabbed all the three accused from Vijay Nagar area at NH-24 T-point. During police interrogations, the arrested persons have revealed that all of them reached victim's house on Monday night where Udham dozed off victim's daughter and her mother-in-law by giving sleeping pills after which they murdered the woman by chocking her throat with a scarf. They then stuffed her body in a plastic bag, took her on a scooter and dumped the bag at a place in Vijay Nagar area," said Akash Tomar, superintendent of police, Ghaziabad.
