3 arrested for murdering manager of Amul dairy
Ghaziabad: Working out the murder case of a 40-year-old manager with Amul milk dairy in Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad, police have arrested three persons including a woman in connection with the case.
Cops said that the alleged murder was committed amid a robbery bid at the dairy.
According to police, the arrested accused were identified as Pushpa Kumari (32) a native of Rajasthan, Krishanpal Singh (37) and Harikishan Singh (35), from Faridabad in Haryana.
Shlok Kumar, Superintendent of Police (City), Ghaziabad said that the woman accused was in a relationship with deceased Jagdeep Kumar for the past four years and she involved two other persons to commit robbery at the dairy.
"The woman was in a relationship with the deceased for past few years and used to visit the dairy in night to meet him. She knew that nearly Rs 3 lakhs cash was present at the dairy and plotted conspiracy to commit a robbery. On June 18, Pushpa came to the dairy and made Jagdeep drink liquor. When he fell asleep, she called his two accomplices and they tied the hands and legs of deceased with rope and strangled him with the help of Pushpa's dupatta when he tried to resist," said Kumar.
"The accused persons then tried to open the almirah where the cash was kept but failed to find the keys. They tried to open the lock with the help of the keys of their motorcycle but could not open."
"However, they fled with the watch and mobile phone of the deceased as they feared that police may find Pushpa's picture in Jagdeep mobile phone and she could be trapped," added Kumar.
The officer further said that the accused persons kept on changing their locations after the crime before being successfully nabbed by police on Monday from UP gate in Ghaziabad.
