24-year-old man held for killing friend at IGI Airport

New Delhi: A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing his friend for raising an objection when the accused made vulgar remarks about his wife inside the parking of the cargo terminal of Indira Gandhi Airport.
The accused, identified as Rishi (25), had fought with Manish (24) after he insulted the latter's wife.
The confrontation eventually snowballed into a fight after Rishi took a chair and struck him with it. Manish collapsed on the spot.
Their friends, who were present there, informed the police and also caught hold of the accused. Manish was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Manish suffered brain hemorrhage as a result of being hit with the chair, the police quoted doctors as saying.
According to police, Manish has been working at the cargo terminal as a customs clearing agent for the past three years. He lives with his wife Shaad Nagar in Palam Extension. On the day of the incident, Manish had celebrated his wife's birthday.
